"Support for projects in the field of low-emission and resource-efficient economy."

 

"Part 1) E-CUMULATOR - Ecological Battery for Industry"

 

The aim of the program: to reduce the negative impact of projects on the environment through investment activities.

Beneficiaries: entrepreneurs within the meaning of the Act of July 2, 2004 on Freedom of Economic Activity, conducting business activity in the form of an enterprise within the meaning of art. 551 of the Act of April 23, 1964, the Civil Code.

Applications must be submitted by September 28, 2018.

Amount of the allocation for co-financing in the form of a loan - PLN 280 million.

Types of ventures:

  • Construction, extension or modernization of existing production installations or industrial equipment, leading to reducing the consumption of primary raw materials (within own production lines), including by replacing them with recyclable materials, waste or leading to a reduction in the amount of waste generated.
  • Projects leading to the reduction of harmful emissions to the atmosphere for installations described in the Directive of the European Parliament and the Council (EU) 2015/2193 of 25 November 2015 on the limitation of emissions of some air pollutants from medium combustion plants as combustion plants.
  • Projects aimed at improving air quality by reducing the emissions from combustion sources of fuels with a total capacity in fuel greater than 50 MW, at least to national emission standards for installations of such power or levels resulting from BAT conclusions, if they are specified for those sources, including, for example, modernization of equipment or equipment for fuel combustion installations into devices or installations to reduce emissions of gaseous and dust pollutants.
  • Projects aimed at improving air quality by reducing the volume of emissions to the atmosphere from industrial activities (not directly related to fuel combustion sources).

 

"Part 2) Co-financing of projects under the Infrastructure and Environment Operational Program under Priority Axis I"

 

The aim of the program: to reduce the negative impact of projects on the environment through investment activities.

Beneficiaries:

  • Beneficiaries of the first axis of the Operational Program Infrastructure and Environment 2014-2020, for whom the NFEPWM is the Implementing Institution;
  • Entities authorized by the Beneficiaries mentioned in point 1) to incur eligible expenses.

Applications must be submitted by 20/12/2018 or until the funds are allocated.

The amount of the allocation for co-financing in the form of a loan - PLN 500 million

Types of ventures:

Projects listed in the Detailed description of priority axes of the Operational Program Infrastructure and Environment 2014-2020 within the priority axis IE OP 2014-2020 - Reduction of the emission intensity of the economy

 


 

PROJECTS FROM WFOŚiGW in Katowice

 

1. Possibility to co-finance tasks:

  • WATER PROTECTION,
  • WATER MANAGEMENT,
  • WASTE ECONOMY AND EARTH SURFACE PROTECTION,
  • ATMOSPHERE PROTECTION,
  • PROTECTION OF BIODIVERSITY AND ECOSYSTEMS FUNCTION,
  • ECOLOGICAL EDUCATION,
  • PREVENTING SERIOUS FAULTS,
  • ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT IN THE REGION,
  • HEALTH PROPHYLAX.

2. Co-financing granted by the Fund may take the following forms:

  • loans, including a bridge loan,
  • grants,
  • redeeming part of the loan used,
  • subsidies for interest on bank loans,
  • credit and subsidies from the Fund in bank credit lines.

3. The Fund, after analyzing the application, may make granting co-financing or its amount dependent on the economic efficiency of the task, or propose a different form and terms of co-financing of the task

4. The Fund does not finance heat sources, installations and thermal insulation in new buildings, with the exception of:

  • renewable energy sources and construction by public finance entities of public facilities with almost zero energy consumption,
  • forms of co-financing addressed to individuals.
